Clear, Lambs, Indian & Butler Creeks Region

This region encompasses Clear Creek, Lambs Creek, Indian Creek, and Butler Creek subwatersheds. It is home to Martinsville, Trafalgar, Bargersville, and Monrovia. As of the 2020 US Census Bureau, the region has a total population of 102,938. Among the residents, 90% identify as White, 2% as Black, 3% as Hispanic, and 11% as a person of color.

This region is supported by employers such as IU Health Morgan Hospital, Walmart Supercenter, and Center Grove High School.

Significant water usage in the region primarily involves public water supply systems such as Indiana-American Water, Citizens Energy Group, and Brown County Water Utility. Additionally, industries like Martin Marietta Materials Inc. contribute to significant water usage in the region. Stream assessments indicate that 53% of evaluated waterways do not meet State water quality standards.
