The White River watershed encompasses a large and diverse area spanning over 1.7 million acres, across rural, suburban and urban areas. Given the watershed’s complexity and scale, it has been divided into nine reporting regions to better assess, measure, and communicate its condition. These reporting regions allow actions and solutions to be tailored the region’s resources and needs. The nine regions are:
