Get Involved in the Report Card Process
The key to a report card’s success is including indicators that reflect as many different values and uses of the river. Farmers, utility companies, environmental organizations, public health departments, economic development partners, regulatory agencies, elected officials, average residents–pretty much everyone that needs a healthy and resilient river should be part of the conversation.
To develop the report card we’re hosting a series of stakeholder workshops that include identification of core values and key threats before progressing into selection of measurements (indicators), identification of data sources, and assignment of goals.
